Awarded the Future Leadership Scholarship from LASALLE College of the Arts, Liaw has since been featured in The Straits Times, TODAY Singapore and Singapore International Foundation Magazine. An experimental textile and print designer, Liaw explores the ways in which material culture addresses our understandings of intimacy, time, and cultural nuance. Her interest in heritage led to a personal project with her grandmother as a part of the M1 Singapore Fringe Festival 2018 under the tutelage of Amanda Heng, a Cultural Medallion recipient as a pioneer in the Arts.
